A Full Arm waxing appointment at Shine BE Happy typically takes 30 to 45 minutes, depending on hair density and consultation. Arrive with hair at least a quarter-inch long for optimal results and quicker service.
Cleanse and exfoliate gently 24 to 48 hours before your appointment to remove dead skin and allow the wax to grip hairs. Avoid sun exposure, heavy moisturizers, retinoids, and blood-thinning medications prior to waxing.
Mild redness or sensitivity is common for a few hours after waxing. Our technicians apply soothing antiseptic and calming oils to reduce irritation. Inform us if you have sensitive skin so we can tailor the treatment.
Most clients enjoy smooth arms for three to six weeks, depending on individual hair growth cycles. Regular waxing can slow regrowth and soften hairs; schedule follow-ups every four to six weeks for consistent results.
Waxing removes most hair types effectively by pulling hairs from the root, though very fine vellus hairs may be less noticeable. Coarse hairs respond well and often become finer with regular waxing.
Active sunburn, recent chemical peels, open wounds, skin infections, or use of oral retinoids can make waxing unsafe. Tell your technician about medications, allergies, or medical concerns before booking.
